Masaharu Shinohara has served as Executive Officer for Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation since October 2014. His experience includes many years working in engineering and planning for Osaka Port Corporation, working as the Port and Airport General Manager for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as part of the Kinki Regional Development Bureau, and before this, in engineering for Kansai International Airport. In April 2001, Masaharu Shinohara served as a Deputy Manager, Engineering Department, Kansai International Airport Co., Ltd. He served as Director for Space Development of Science and Technology Bureau Cabinet Office in April 2009, Executive Officer for Engineering and Planning of Osaka Port Corporation in June 2009. Masaharu Shinohara earned a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Tokyo and Master of Science from Stanford University, Stanford, California, USA.
