Mr. Djama Ibrahim Darar, graduated a diploma in Management and internal Consultancy by the IAE of Aix-en-Provence ( France) and graduate of the CEFED (Study of the Center of Financial ,Economy Banking) . Has accumulated more than 32 years of experience in the field of maritime activities (Ports equipments management, marketing, operations & ports strategy, logistics chain, costs analysis and the sale of ports services).   Nominated as counselor of the General Manager of the Port of Djibouti in April 2000 for a period where the management of Port was given to a private operator Dubai Port World (DPW). ( Semi public and private beneficial partnership)   From March 16 to July 17, 2008, has attended as an expert the Port of Dakar (Senegal), which was under the management of Dubai Port World.   Since November 2008, I was appointed as Commercial Director of the Port of Djibouti.   From May 2010 to April 2012, I was nominated as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in cumulative with my function as Commercial Director in order to improve the productivity of the General Cargo operations.
